Honestly, rimonabant (acomplia). You will need to buy it online as it is not currently on the market legally anywhere (undergoing some more research). If you really want the websites of ones that have worked for me, I can give them to you. But tread carefully.
Pros: After about 2 weeks, you are very uninterested in eating. Most people lose about 20 pounds. Not much, but a start. Over a period of 2 years, it can be more, and it is permanent, as long as can be kept up. Generics work just as well, and off internet are pretty cheap enough. ~$1000 or so per year. Not too bad for something out of pocket. But it also takes away your appetite and desire to binge. Which judging from your blog, may be what you're after. But...
Cons: Side effects include gradually increasing depression (seriously, I considered suicide, but I was aware of this side effect. It was scary.) You don't feel or act yourself, really. I was on this med for about 3 months. The really worst thing, though, is in any urine drug test, this shows up as marijuana. The reason is because it is an inverse agonist for the cannabinoid receptor CB1. Meaning it blocks the receptors for marijuana. Even though you may have never done real drugs, especially mj in you LIFE (I haven't), it DOES show up very very much so in a urine test. My psychiatrist ran one on me, and I had no idea that rimonabant did this. Boy did he chew me out! I explained I wasn't doing drugs as in mj, but diet drugs. He believed me, as he's my ED psych, but he still scolded me. I was so scared, though, because would police or a job believe me as readily that I ordered under-investigation european diet drugs from an indian pharmacy over the internet, and I really wasn't doing marijuana? Yeah, right, they'd say. They'd have no other means of testing this, so I'd get in legal trouble. That is the biggest con against this drug. But it really did some good stuff while I was on it.
I am about to try meridia, though. In fact, it should be coming in any day, now. I've been checking my PO box since monday, but it could come in as late as two weeks from now, so I have no feedback to give you yet. Someday I'll be able to tell you how well that one works.
Also, topamax. An epilepsy med that is often prescribed off-label for bulimia and binge-eating disorder. Look on my older posts for what I've written on it, and perhaps mention it to your doctor. It does good things in taking away my desire to overeat. I just can't do it. Not even if I wanted to.

-when I said "I just can't do it" I meant over-eating, not taking topamax. Just to clarify.-
